We are not your typical afterschool program.

The Spirit Collective offers a comprehensive, whole-person approach to provide much more than just basic supervision. Allotted movement, mindset and homework times help your children flow into the rest of their evening with ease.

Movement to Start

When children arrive on location, the first focus is on movement. We purposefully give them space to relax and be kids! They get all their sillies out after a long structured day at school, unwind from sitting in the classroom, and intentionally connect with their bodies. This includes a combination of dance, yoga, sports, and outdoor adventures! TSC partners with local businesses and organizations to bring in expert instructors for a truly moving experience. We ensure that each activity is emotionally, mentally and physically stimulating to keep them happy and engaged. We also keep activities appropriate for various weather conditions; we even have a GIANT PARACHUTE for rainy days!

Mindset in the Middle

We help your children build a solid relationship with themselves first, so they can consciously create better relationships with others. Enter HeyKiddoTM — the curriculum designed by psychologists and child specialists to build coping skills in elementary-aged children. The Spirit Collective kids will receive maximum value with this award-winning material. Our inspired staff will facilitate daily conversations and weekly activities. With a focus on self awareness, self management, relationships, and decision making the goal is to elevate the human experience for each child at an early age. We'll help them pay attention to what lights them up, to breathe through challenging situations, and to create inner stability when connecting with the world around them.

Finish with Focus

After moving their bodies and engaging their hearts, kids are ready to concentrate on school assignments. After building up their internal focus, we introduce the opportunity to apply it to external tasks during supervised homework sessions. We simply focus better with relaxed bodies, open hearts, and clear heads. Teaching young children this pivotal wisdom sets them up for success later in life. Self-management directly corresponds to time management, and we facilitate TSC children developing those skills. As a short-term benefit, your child clears homework off their plates before coming home for dinner, with caring adults nearby to help with questions.

Monthly Guest Speaker Series

Once a month, TSC welcomes a guest speaker to share the ups and downs of their respective careers, passion projects or life experiences. This series celebrates and highlights the importance of experiencing failure as a purposeful teaching method. We nurture courageous exploration based upon our own internal guidance systems. Through first-hand stories, children learn the power of inner resilience and the ability to adapt. TSC leverages personal and professional networks to host exceptional and inspiring speakers.
